General
If you're looking for a unique hihat that can offer both a short attack and an exceptional sizzling effect, then choose the 12-inch Sabian Stratus Cirro Stax of which each cymbal is unique. For instance, the upper cymbal has a rough front and a flat back. In contrast, the underside is completely flat and rough. It is possible to play the upper cymbal separately from the lower cymbal for an effective phaser sound.
