The sound of the Meinl Classics C14MSW Medium Soundwave Hi-hats is very rich, and has a cutting pedal chick. The bottom cymbal of this pair of hi-hats has a special shape that prevents air-lock, so that the cymbals move around more freely and create a more sizzling sound. These medium hi-hats are excellently suited for lighter styles of music, such as jazz, fusion and blues, and are also great for use as an effect cymbal in orchestras or percussion groups.
