General
This HCS Bronze Soundwave Series hi-hat has a 14" diameter and is made of B8 bronze. Just like all cymbals in the series, this hi-hat packs a distinctively bright and relatively high-pitched sound. Since the bottom cymbal has a waved edge, sizzle effects are beautifully enlarged when the hi-hat is played half-open and, while the cymbals shape plenty of volume, they never sound too overpowered. The pedal chick sounds nice and fat, and due to both cymbals bearing medium weight and a traditional finish, the HCS Bronze Soundwave 14" hi-hat can certainly be used in a wide variety of styles.
