Pearl H-1030S Hi-Hat Stand

Purchased this product to replace my first 'starter' hi hat stand. This replacement is a clear upgrade against what I was working with. For me, a good upgrade has clearly made a difference in my playing. The mechanics are much better than my previous stand resulting in a smooth open/close movement and great feel through the pedal. Footplate is solid, feels amazing under foot and the hats sit just right. Overall extremely happy. Only slight grumble is that my purchase had clearly been opened previously, possibly a return at some point and didn't come with a clutch so having to use my old one currently. I'm still to have a response from Bax around sending one out.... I hope this is resolved.
