General

The Pearl H-800X is a lightweight hi-hat stand for drummers who want to combine smooth operation with easy portability. The Direct Pull Drive System ensures direct drive and a quick response, so the stand reacts smoothly to your foot movements. The double-legged tripod also provides sturdy support for your hi-hat cymbals. Thanks to its compact, lightweight design, you can easily take this stand with you to local gigs. The included HCL-79 hi-hat clutch holds your top cymbal in place and offers various adjustment options. Do you use a double bass drum pedal? The swivelling footboard allows you to make space for it without having to change your entire setup straight away.

Sturdy base, flexible set-up

A lightweight stand must, of course, also be sturdy. That’s why the H-800X features a wide tripod with Pearl’s Trident design, which provides extra balance. The double reinforcement on each leg supports your cymbals whilst you play. The stabilised footboard is swivelling, allowing you to organise the space around your pedals efficiently. You can adjust the height from 24 to 35.8 inches, or approximately 61 to 90.9 centimetres. This allows you to position the hi-hat at a height that suits your playing posture. The cast clamps feature nylon insulation, ensuring secure height adjustment and quiet operation of the two-piece head assembly.

HCL-79 clutch with extensive adjustment

With the HCL-79 clutch, you can adjust not only the mounting but also the range of movement of your top hi-hat cymbal. The direct wing nut mounting securely holds the chosen setting in place and prevents slippage. Traditional felt rings allow the cymbal to resonate freely, whilst the locking lower nut keeps the mounting secure. The two-piece, adjustable upper nut lets you determine how tightly or loosely the cymbal is held. This allows you to adjust the play to suit your preference: clamped more firmly or slightly looser for greater movement. The base plate with a brushed chrome finish completes the design of this practical hi-hat stand.
