General
The Pearl OPTA-1112-C is part of Pearl's OptiMount mounting system, which allows your toms to resonate more freely, thus providing better tone and sustain. This version is made of a sturdy, yet lightweight aluminium alloy and is used on Pearl's Reference and Masters Premium series of drums. The OptiMount attaches to your tom's tension rods and rests it against rubber cushions, providing it with stability without muffling it. This attractively priced mounting system allows for a great sound!
