This Pearl S-040 set of snare wires is suited for 14-inch snare drums and consists of 15 strands, which leave plenty of room for the sound of the shell and while still providing plenty of sizzle. Moreover, these are steel cable wires with a thinner guage, that deliver a distinct, brighter sound. The Pearl S-040 comes with a set of cords, to attach the wires to your snare drum with.
