This 13-inch batter tension rim is made for the batter side and has reinforced tension points for consistent tuning, even in heavy playing. Thanks to the extra-large snare gates, your string mechanism gets more space and everything keeps working smoothly. The edge is also slightly oversized to reduce head choke and improve response. Snare-side tensioning rim is available separately.
