General

The Tama Sound Lab Project Series LGM146-KMB G-Maple Kona Mappa Burl snare drum has a 13-ply construction, which makes the shell's walls slightly thicker than standard for boosted projection. At the same time, the 2.3mm Steel Mighty Hoops allow the shell to breathe and bring out its natural sound in all of its glory and, as befits a high-end snare, Tama has mounted a set of pro-grade Evans drumheads and 20-strand Super Sensitive hi-carbon snare wires. The deluxe Kona Mappa Burl finish combines with black Nickel shell hardware for extra cool points.
