General

The Audix M40 is a compact condenser microphone specially designed for fixed installations, such as in schools, meeting rooms or monitoring rooms. Thanks to its high sensitivity and integrated preamp, the M40 delivers excellent performance for speech recognition and remote miking. Noise and unwanted signals are kept to a minimum thanks to its complete immunity to RF interference from mobile phones and other devices. The microphone is easy to install in the ceiling using just a 5/8-inch hole, without the need for any additional tools. Furthermore, the M40 can be fitted with a cardioid, hypercardioid or shotgun capsule, offering great flexibility for a wide range of rooms and applications.
