The Shure MicroFlex series offers business users a solution for everything. This includes situations where it is not attractive or practical to have microphones on a table, hanging on clothing or standing on the head; this MX202 series is suitable for just that! Indeed, this overhead microphone allows you to mount the microphone on the ceiling, making it virtually invisible. This is useful behind, for example, receptions, counters, interrogation rooms, operating rooms and, of course, meeting rooms.

The MX202 series comes in two colours - white and black - and is available with two different recording patterns: cardioid and supercardioid. The microphone series is also available without a cartridge, where you can then implement another omni-directional cartridge yourself. The advantage of this is that you can weigh up the possibility of feedback and reflections, where the microphone is placed and so on, and then arrive at the best solution. Moreover, the cartridges are interchangeable and can even be re-ordered, so you can always turn your cardioid one into a supercardioid or even an omni-directional microphone! And to make it all a bit more all-round, you can also choose the way of preamplification, as you can choose between two preamps: the in-line, which is integrated into the circuit and thus the cable, and the so-called "plate-mounted" preamp. So you are always in complete control of most situations!
