Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 (GPO) treats you to a full virtual symphony orchestra. A simple MIDI keyboard and the practical ARIA sample player allow you to play all the essential instruments, such as strings, brass and woodwind instruments, percussion, choir, harp and key instruments. Both the recordings and the instruments are of the highest quality. The sample collection offers over 150 instruments, including Steinway, Stradivari, Guarneri, Haynes and many others. Using Garritan Personal Orchestra 4, you're able to create your own ensembles.
Garritan Personal Orchestra 4's ARIA player
GPO 4's samples can easily be imported into the ARIA sample player. It supports various formats (VST, RTAS, and Audio Units), so incorporating this sample player into your digital studio setup is a piece of cake. It's also possible to run the plugin as a stand-alone in both Mac and PC systems.
To ensure optimal realism, the ARIA player comes with a beautiful reverb. The reverb level and stereo positioning can easily be adjusted using an internal mixer.
Create your own ensembles
One of GPO's most remarkable features is the option of creating your own ensembles. Most other sample libraries offer only fixed ensembles, with a set size and sound for each section. Garriton Personal Orchestra, however, allows you to determine the size and composition of your ensembles yourself. Even the playing style and start and end times can be adjusted for each individual instrument.
