Ik zag deze reflector in de documentaire The Defiant Ones waar Dr.Dre een track opnam.
Logisch dat ik dacht wat goed is voor hem moet goed zijn voor mij en dat klopte helemaal.
Ik had een popfilter met een ijzeren bevestiging, die is niet te gebruiken bij dit reflectionfilter. Ik zou aanraden de Shure PS-6 erbij te nemen omdat ie een flexibele houder heeft en de afstand tussen je mic. en dit popfilter ongeveer een vuistdikte aan te houden. De afstand van je mic en het reflectionfilter ongeveer zo dicht dat je vinger er nog tussen passen en wanneer je vocalen opneemt qua afstand iets voor het plopfilter blijft staan en niet teveel beweegt. Het is echt een goeie investering geweest voor me.

De enige originele reflectiefilter. Een zeer degelijk en licht filter die op elke microfoonstandaard en -adapter te draaien is, wat tevens erg aan te raden is aangezien de meegeleverde klem zeer zwaar is en er totaal geen rekening is gehouden met diens zwaartepunt, waardoor deze niet op een gebruikelijke microfoonstandaard te gebruiken is en een sterkere standaard vereist (zoals een bekkenstandaard). Dit is geen probleem met de andere sE Reflexion Filters, maar deze zijn of goedkoper en van een mindere kwaliteit, of duurder.
Het filter zelf werkt perfect en laat de microfoon totaal in diens waarde ongeacht de frequenties. De meeste filters kleuren het geluid licht, wat dodelijk kan zijn.
Let wel: schone, kale opnames vereisen meer dan alleen een filter als deze, maar in combinatie met een degelijk geïsoleerde ruimte is het perfect.
Het filter zelf werkt perfect en laat de microfoon totaal in diens waarde ongeacht de frequenties. De meeste filters kleuren het geluid licht, wat dodelijk kan zijn.
Let wel: schone, kale opnames vereisen meer dan alleen een filter als deze, maar in combinatie met een degelijk geïsoleerde ruimte is het perfect.
