Super microfoon, helder en direct geluid zonder feedback. Zeker voor mensen met veel laag in hun stem een aanrader. Deze won het veruit van de Neumann KMS 105.

De KSM9 is een erg fijne microfoon met een schakelbare karakteristiek tussen cardioïde en supercardioïde. De klank is niet te vergelijken met een sm58 of beta58a, maar een stuk beter voor bijna alle toepassingen. Ook de feedback gevoeligheid is erg laag.
