The Shure Beta 87A is a super-cardioid handheld microphone with vocal reproduction performance that professional audio companies, recording studios and radio and TV broadcasts swear by. The 87A consists of a controlled low-frequency roll-off which compensates for the so-called 'proximity effect'.
