About Vir2 BASiS

Vir2 has managed to record a large collection of electric, upright, fretless and synth basses faithfully at 24-bit audio quality. You can choose from different playing styles of legato, hammer-ons, pullofs, sliders, slaps and more. There are also several settings modal to adjust vibrato, velocity and blending.

Top quality virtual bass guitar software

BASiS has a database of over 7 Gigabytes and a collection of jazz basses, P-Bass, Rickenbacker and Musicman instruments. All instruments are recorded directly, without the use of effects. You can personalise your sound through effects such as compression, saturation, filters, distortion, limiter, phaser, flanger, equaliser and much more.

This software runs as a stand-alone plug-in on virtually any PC and Mac computer. The samples can also be loaded into Native Instruments' Kontakt.
