General
There are very few keyboards that are as easy to make music on as the 61-key Yamaha PSR-E453, thanks to a variety of modern features. For starters, this is a very comprehensive, complete instrument. It has everything you expect from a leading keyboard manufacturer, including a large bank of sounds (more than 750) and over 200 automatic accompaniments. Things start to get even more interesting, however, when you take a gander at the extra functions you'd normally only see on a DJ controller!
DJ functions
If you're learning to play the keyboard, you may not always be in the mood for your daily practise session. How about jumping out of your routine and having a little fun? The Yamaha PSR-E453 features a Pattern function which contains a range of intense loops and beats so you can create a killer dance track in a flash! Use the Live Control buttons to manipulate the keyboard sounds on the fly, just like a DJ performing live. When it's time to buckle down and practise, Yamaha has made that more enjoyable too with the Yamaha Education Suite.
Audio via USB
Even though most keyboards these days can be hooked up to a computer, the possibilities are often limited to the transfer of note data. The PSR-E453 has more modern capabilities and can easily process audio information. This means you can not only send audio directly to your computer, you can also receive audio from your computer and play it over the keyboard's speakers. Super handy when you want to play along with your favourite tracks! You can also connect an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to access your entire music library.

Het geluid is in vergelijking met concurrerende merken in dezelfde prijsklasse werkelijk subliem. Warme volle klanken en heel veel mogelijkheden. De toetsen voelen prima aan en zijn aanslaggevoelig. Een keyboard voor de beginnende en gevorderde speler.
Mogelijkheden voor aansluiten MP3 speler, smartphone,laptop en pc voor het beluisteren of overbrengen van muziek.
Misschien nog een goede raad....met de handleiding erbij kun je stap voor stap de vele mogelijkheden ontdekken en daarna......heerlijk improviseren!

Aan de andere kant zitten er nu wat extra geluiden en effecten enzo in. De ingebouwde usb geluidskaart en aux-in zijn wat mij betreft wel een echte vooruitgang! Als het klavier niet zo'n stap terug had gemaakt had ik 5 sterren gegeven.

Snel geleverd door Bax, goed verpakt, helemaal niets op aan te merken.
Heb nog niet alle opties door, vooral aangeschaft voor de sounds en het prettig spelende keyboard. Kan in ieder geval meer dan ik nodig heb.
