General

With the CAD Audio GXL2200SP Studio Pack, you don't have to choose between a large or a small-diaphragm microphone. This set includes both the GXL2200 and a GXL1200 mics so you can record an instrument and vocals at the same time, for instance. It also comes complete with a shock mount, mic clip and pop filter!

Properties of the GXL2200SP

The GXL2200 condenser microphone has a large diaphragm, which gives it a warm sound and rounds off the peaks in your audio source. This makes it ideal for vocals and guitar in particular. Use the included shock mount to prevent the GXL2200 from capturing unwanted contact noise. Unlike the GXL2200, the GXL1200 has a small diaphragm and offers a natural sound with plenty of detail. The GXL1200 is suitable for acoustic guitar, hi-hat and percussion.
