This progressive offering isn't just multi-faceted, but far more reliable than a vintage classic, since we're looking at a modern large-diaphragm condenser microphone backed up by the dedicated Sphere app. Within the app, you simply scroll through and select your preferred microphone before setting up the polar pattern as needed and, thanks to the dual-capsule, this microphone can even be used to capture stereo recordings. If you're the lucky owner of an Apollo audio interface, then the Sphere software can even be run via the Apollo processors so that you can not only record with a hyper-accurate emulation of an iconic microphone, but do it without a hint of latency.
