General

The Showtec Retrofit LED lamp can be used in sunstrips as a replacement for halogen lamps. This remarkable LED has the same exact properties as a halogen, but is a lot less expensive, and more efficient! Each halogen lamp on a sunstrip requires 75 watts each, but these LED lamps require just 7.5 watts each!

Showtec Retrofit LED lamp gradually dims out

This Retrofit LED lamp can simulate the effect of a halogen slowly dimming out because it's equipped with a condenser. To retain the same light intensity and dispersion angle as a halogen, Showtec combined both white and warm white LEDs into each lamp.

Showtec has done it. They've managed to develop an alternative to the halogen lamps in their Sunstrip Active. That's right, you won't need expensive halogens any more. From now on, you can use much more affordable and energy-saving LED bulbs without sacrificing the characteristics of this light effect.
