General

The Compar 50 set by Ayra consist sof 4 Compar 50 fixtures and a full-metal housing. Thanks to the RGBAW+UV LED configuration and the fact that you can use it on the floor or suspend it horizontally or vertically in a truss, this effect is suitable for a wide variety of applications. As well as the familiar RGB colour combinations, you've also got amber, cold white and UV/blacklight at your disposal. The light yield is an impressive 7200 lux at one metre away. Via the display underneath, you can set the machine to various modes including fixed colour, colour jump, fades and even sound-activated. Naturally, you can also operate it via DMX for ultimate control.

Wrote the following about Ayra Compar 50 RGBAW + UV LED Projector

Light output a little disappointing, especially the UV. However there is a major issue with the firmware and DMX control. If you are using DMX software to control these lights, and you use the Channel 9 operating mode selection to call up a slow colour fade, then it will automatically assume that any other dmx commands issued to it are to be done at that same speed of fade. This means that if you wanted to go to say a fast Red Blue Green jump sequence, then it will not jump between the colours, but fade them. Even if you return the channel 9 dmx to zero, it still does the same. Your only option is to issue a command to CH9 to go to either a fast jump or fast fade, then go to your dmx issued colour changes, and the fade will be gone. The channel 9 should have the 0 value set to cancel out any fades etc associated with the built in effects so that they dont affect the normal DMX operations.

Very sturdy with a wide tripod base. The extended height is good. The winding action could be a little smoother, but for the price it's acceptable.
Only 4 stars instead of 5 because:
1) The folded down height at 1.85m is still quite hard to transport.
2) No carry bag is included. You must purchase this separately.
3) The stand is quite heavy (but lighter than the ones I own already so perhaps I should not complain).
Overall, pleased with the stand at the price paid (on offer at £99). At the full price I might have expected a better stand.

Bij ontvangst pakket via pakket dienst voel je al gelijk dat het van degelijk materiaal gemaakt is doos is zwaar.
+ punten:
-stevig en robuust gemaakt.
-staat stevig op de grond.
-de wind-up werkt ook goed.
-kan het statief mooi ver omhoog draaien.

-punten:
-het is een zwaar statief
-er zat geen bescherm hoes bij.
-bij wind-up mechanisme wordt geadviseerd dit te smeren maar word zo droog aangeleverd doe er anders voor transport een losse tube smeermiddel bij.
