The Technoflash 168 by Showtec has built-in flash speed and intensity controls, so that you can use it without DMX! It can automatically go through its programs, or play these to the beat of the music. Connect it to a light table via DMX, and you'll enjoy two channels with which you can adjust the flash speed and intensity.

Showtec Technoflash 168: technical details

The Technoflash 168 features, as you might expect, 168 white LEDs. These are fitted in a rectangular grid in the housing to ensure an optimal light dispersion. Apart from the DMX in/out connector, an IEC in/out is also provided on the unit's casing, so that you can easily daisy chain multiple units. Thanks to the low power consumption, you can daisy chain twenty or thirty units, saving you having to use a lot of cables and power strips.
