Left-handed guitarists who are fans of Muse and/or Matthew Bellamy must have been jealous of right-handed players who have been able to get their hands on his Signature model for a while now. They need be jealous no more, however, as Cort has introduced the MBC-1 LH, a left-handed version of Matthew Bellamy's Signature guitar in matte black. This special model has been designed in collaboration with the renowned Manson Guitar Works to produce an instrument that matches Bellamy's requirements fully. The basswood body produces a unique, somewhat airy sound, while the maple neck adds brightness, and the rosewood fretboard a touch of warmth.
Cort MBC-1 LH Matthew Bellamy: a unique guitar
The MBC-1 is fitted with a TOM bridge and locking tuners for a solid sound with excellent tuning stability. Two Manson pickups are fitted; a humbucker in the bridge position that delivers a full sound and a single-coil at the neck for some classic brightness. There's also a kill button on board that lets you cut the signal, allowing you to create some interesting sound effects. Whether you're a fan of Muse or not, the Cort MBC-1 LH Matthew Bellamy is a reliable, well-designed guitar with a great sound that left-handed players will love.
