Showtec Typhoon 640 Mirror Ball Light Effect

General

The innovative Showtec Typhoon 640 light effect combines six circular 40 Watt RGBW LEDs with a centrally placed rotating half-mirror-ball. This creates a dynamic and colour-rich spectacle, whether as part of a small or medium-large event. The six outer LEDs can be individually controlled, packing the show with variation and resulting in unique mirror-ball patterns, and the mirror ball speed and direction of rotation can also be tweaked to realise a broad array of visual effects.

Independent Control + Auto Programmes

Besides the powerful LEDs, each LED housing has been fitted with an RGB LED effect strip, which can be individually controlled or commanded to perform one of the on-board preprogrammed shows for some even more vivid and dynamic patterns. Meanwhile, because the Typhoon 640 is convection cooled, it operates in silence.

Broad Beam Angle & Compact Housing

While it comes in a relatively compact housing, the Typhoon 640 boasts a surprisingly wide beam angle, making it ideal for spaces with lower ceilings. The unit can also be installed vertically or at another angle, keeping you light shows creative and impressive. In terms of control options, this fixture supports 4, 16, 31, 36 and 51 DMX channels so things can get as detailed as you need them to be, or it can simple be set up in stand-alone mode to perform built-in sequences, giving you an easy-to-work-with plug-and-play visual treat.
