Showtec Safeled LED emergency lighting

Whereas the average light effect by Showtec is purely designed for entertainment uses, the Showtec Safeled serves as an emergency lighting unit! It will help you get out of harms way quickly. If the arrow points the right way, that is. Luckily, three labels are included: one that points left, one right and one that points downwards. At the bottom you will find the safety requirements that the Safeled meets. It is really a good idea to use this unit and it is probably even mandatory for most public spaces.

Safeled technology

The light is produced by 30 LED chips (5050 SMD). When the label is applied, the light yield of the lamp is 131 lumens. The Safeled operates on AC power, but when this cuts out, the built-in Ni-CD battery ensures an uninterrupted power supply for up to 60 minutes after the AC power failing. The ABS housing is IP-65 certified, which means that it is dust and splash proof. A sprinkler installation will therefore not damage it.
