Compact light unit suitable for small venues, easy to set up and control. Excellant value for money.

Additional to my previous review, the clamps that hold the tripod pole lift sections up, are very poor and don't clamp the pole itself at all allowing it to slip back down (this was not with a heavy load, but 4 simple compared LED lights), unless you depend on the through bolt to hold it, this means you have no option but to only allow it to go to heights determined by the hole spacings. I would not recommend this device at all

Bought two units, one arrived with the crossbar bracket broken. Despite emailing customer support almost every day to get it replaced, five days later I have still not received any reply. Not the first time ive had issues with customer support from Max. very very poor replies. if this unit has arrived damaged, I don't hold out much hope for the longevity of the other one, as it appears to be of inferior quality

Pretty robust for the money, though with a couple of oddities. The bolts used for hanging lights from the T-bar are a narrower gauge than those you find on most lighting hooks, etc, so may be incompatible with your other gear — in which case you'll have to use the bolts that come with the stand and nothing else. Also the bolt that you tighten to secure the T-bar on to the stand is surprisingly short — when you slacken it to lift the bar off the top of the stand there is a risk that the bolt will come all the way out of the nut that it screws into. If this happens the nut can fall out of the housing. More than once I've had to scrabble on the floor or scour the back of my car looking for it.

The package was sent promptly, arrived on time. I've been using this mic with the Beringer deq2496 also purchased from Bax music and it's working very well. Customer service was very good when I called to modify my order.
