The ATH-E70 in-ear monitors are powered by 3-way balanced armature drivers that are renowned for their fast response and highly-detailed sound. With a frequency range of 20 - 19,000 Hz, you'll hear the lows, the mids and the highs clearly. The ATH-E70s are capable of producing an impressive volume with an SPL (sound pressure level) of 109 dB/mW. Thanks to an impedance of 39 ohms, you can easily connect them to a device like a smartphone or a tablet without any problems. The flexible cable included is removable and equipped with A2DC connectors for improved performance and durability. As well as the cable, the ATH-E70 in-ear monitors come with a case, a jack plug adapter, a set of silicone eartips and a set of Comply-foam eartips.

In principe is het geluid best mooi, alleen niet indrukwekkend en niet strak. Wat vooral stoort is dat het onaangenaam schel en hard wordt op hoog volume. Omdat de isolatie niet zo goed is als bijvoorbeeld de Shure, moet het ook best hard worden gezet. Waardoor het onwerkbaar werd.
Vergeleken met Shure SE535 en Sennheiser IE 400.
De Shure was voor ons de winnaar, beste isolatie en geeft ook het meest natuurgetrouwe geluid.
Sennheiser was ook mooi. Maar veel brighter, wat voor live situaties, muzikanten met slechter gehoor of met het gebruik van schuimdopjes wellicht een goede optie is.

De sound verbaasd na 3 maanden nog steeds keer op keer! De bass lijkt geen einde te kennen terwijl deze toch neutraal en niet overheersend over komt. Over het gehele spectrum geeft deze een krachtige en neutrale sound.
Ik ben lichtman en heb deze gekocht om samen met een in-ear pre-amp als gehoorbescherming te gebruiken zonder dat ik moet inleveren in geluidskwaliteit. De isolatie is hiervoor meer dan voldoende. Het is wel even experimenteren met de pads. Het is een balans zoeken tussen comfort en isolatie maar de bijgeleverde pads geven genoeg mogelijkheden.
Gezien ik deze dus over langere periode gebruik (14 uur aan een stuk is geen uitzondering) moet ik wel toegeven dat het draagcomfort bij mij wat minder is. Na een twee tal uur beginnen ze te drukken in mijn oorschelp (dus niet in mijn gehoord gang). Wanneer ik deze dan wat manipuleer in een andere positie gaat dit wel over. Maar misschien hebben mijn oren wel een buitenmaat gezien ik hier niemand anders over hoor en lees klagen. En, het is wat vervelend maar echt niet pijnlijk!
Overall een topproduct. Goede sound, goede bouwkwaliteit, oogt kwalitatief .. Precies wat we van Audiotechnica gewent zijn!

Je pense avoir des oreilles standards et c'est pourtant très fastidieux à chaque écoute, quelque soit le type d'embout utilisé (silicone ou mousse). Mieux vaut ne pas être dérangé une fois que tout ceci est en place !
Passé cet obstacle, le son délivré est incroyable de clarté et de détails.
C'est une écoute à la loupe extrêmement dynamique mais bien équilibrée.
Sur les très bons fichiers, tout est en place, les basses sont tendues, les voix naturelles et bien positionnées, les aigus prolongent les hauts médium sans attirer désagréablement l'attention.
A mon goût l'écoute manque un peu de rondeur mais n'ayons pas peur des mots, c'est excellent ! Sources testées : Méridian Explorer et player Fiio X3.
4,5 étoiles pour le son.
Attention, en revanche, c'est une écoute au scalpel qui fatigue rapidement l'oreille, pour une écoute longue durée il faut donc être très très très raisonnable au niveau du volume.
