The Dynacord DSP 260 is a 2-in-6-out speaker controller. It allows you to fine-tune your active speaker systems and adjust the several components to better work together. This controller features a parametric graphic equalizer, a delay function, a crossover, channel EQ, channel delay and a volume control with a limiter for each output. The DSP 260 has a variable lockout function which means you can determine exactly which parameters a user can adjust, something that is particularly convenient if you rent out speaker systems.
Why would you need a speaker controller you ask?
Actually, when you use a system that consists of more than one speaker, there's really no getting around a good controller as it determines which part of the frequency range gets sent to different amps to use them (and their properties) at their most effective. Additionally, the acoustic properties of different rooms often demand specific tone adjustments. Dynacord's DSP 260 is a processor that can handle all of these adjustments in a very clear way. A very user-friendly processor
You can alter numerous settings from the front panel of the DSP 260, but you will have the most insight when you use the included software. Dynacord put careful thought and consideration into the location of the USB port - it's on the front - allowing you to alter settings easily without looking for a connection in the back of a dark rack. The DSP 260 has presets for all Dynacord speakers, allowing you to easily configure your set, creating a different preset for each speaker setup.
