General

Yamaha's Regular series mallets feature similar quality to that of the handmade Virtuoso series and are excellent for a wide range of musical styles. The MR2040 is equipped with a soft yarn-wound round head with a 30 x 20mm core size. Thanks to the yarn-wound head, it produces a nice, mellow sound and is particularly well-suited for playing the vibraphone and the marimba.
