The Grover 409C tuning machines are specially designed for standard ‘A’-style mandolins. With their open construction and distinctive 4-in-a-plate design, they not only offer stability but also an elegant appearance thanks to their chrome finish and round pearloid buttons. The worm gear transmission is set to a ratio of 18:1, ensuring smooth and precise tuning. The set comprises eight tuners – four on the left, four on the right – and features an 8.3 mm mounting sleeve with a 23 mm centre-to-centre distance. This allows you to effortlessly replace your old, worn-out tuners and ensures your mandolin remains perfectly in tune at all times.
