The Grover 409FVC tuning machines are designed for mandolinists seeking reliability and a vintage look for their ‘F’-style instrument. These open-back tuning machines feature a specially developed worm gear mechanism for smooth and precise tuning. Each set comprises eight pieces: four left-handed and four right-handed, in a 4-on-a-plate style, allowing you to retain the authentic look of traditional mandolins. Thanks to the 18:1 tuning ratio, fine adjustments are easy to make, whilst installation is straightforward due to the standard shaft spacing and sleeves.
