General

These Grover 409VNW Professional mandolin tuning machines are designed for vintage ‘A’-style mandolins with equal string lengths and a standard 4+4 configuration. Thanks to the specially designed, adjustable worm gear and die-cast base, the worm and gear remain perfectly aligned for stable and accurate tuning. The open tuners have a gear ratio of 18:1 and are finished in nickel. To achieve the classic look, they feature round white plastic knobs and a ‘rounded washer head’ screw.
