Part of Epiphone's Bluegrass Collection, this four-string electric mandolin comes armed with a single mini-humbucker, is a joy to play whether you're a traditional mandolin player or a guitarist, and includes a premium gig bag so you can get it to gigs and take your sound to the next level.

The Mandobird: Iconic Design

The Mandobird features a traditional Mini Firebird-style body that has been carved out of nato and bolted to an immediately comfortable, C-profile mahogany neck, while the mini-humbucker at the neck delivers full-and-fiery amplified sound that can be dialled in to taste by tweaking the volume and tone controls. Optimum tuning stability is ensured by a fixed string-through-body bridge and a set of Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.

Unfortunately the one l bought had the frets almost a quarter note too high, not sure if it was a manufacturing error or if you're supposed to fix that yourself but for that price you should be able to expect a better quality instrument.
