General

This hand-adjusted A-Style Series RMAE40SBK mandolin from Ortega has been built using laminated maple and spruce before being coated in a black satin finish. The rosewood neck and fretboard can be adjusted as needed using the installed two-way truss rod and, while a preamp hasn't been fitted to this mandolin, a built-in passive pickup can be activated as soon as the instrument is plugged in and the amplified sound can then be tweaked using the chrome-plated tone and volume control pots mounted on the top of the resonant chamber. This sleek mandolin comes including its very own gig bag.
