An affordable mandolin for both the beginner and advanced musician: the Ibanez MG510E Mandolin. Can also be amplified on an amplifier or PA system! Play along during a jam session or plug into your mixer at home to add that mandolin part to recordings that beg for it! This Ibanez mandolin features a single-coil magnetic element and volume and tone controls. So you can play your mandolin clearly in various situations and even on bigger stages.
M510E: classic A-style model
With its A-style pear-shaped body and f-shaped sound holes, the MG510E is a classic-looking mandolin model. With its spruce top, it provides a clear and balanced sound. The sides, back and neck are made of sapele wood and the bridge and fingerboard are both made of the exotic purpleheart. This basically semi-acoustic mandolin naturally features the traditional 4 sets of double-core strings, with each group tuned the same in the traditional GDAE mandolin tuning.
