General
Big enough for two musicians to sit down or for one person to lie down on after it's flipped on its side, the Schlagwerk Big Bom log drum has been made from solid alder (body) and solid maple (soundboard) and is ideal for music therapy thanks to its gentle, rooting and stimulating sound. The 10 notes, tuned in F-pentatonic, create harmonic polyphony across a broad spectrum of full-bodied sounds, from the low bass to the bright alto register. Finished with felt feet, the 12010A Big Bom is best played using mallets. A pair of Schlagwerk MA105 mallets comes included as standard.
