Wrote the following about Pearl MFH-16 16-inch mesh head
"Dit gaasvel van pearl doet precies wat je wil, het maakt je floortom een stuk stiller dan wanneer je met een normaal vel speelt zonder het speelgevoel al te veel aan te passen zoals de rubberen dempers doen die je op het vel zou kunnen leggen. Als je je normale resonantievel erop laat zitten behoud je zelfs een deel van de toon waardoor je toch kan horen wat je speelt zonder dat de buren hier last van hebben.
