Een gaasvel heeft, zeker in dit formaat, de neiging om een trampoline te worden. Door het vel wat strakker te spannen over de kickdrum was dit geen probleem meer. let op dat je een patch erbij koopt om je gaasvel te beschermen tegen de inslag van je beater. Daarbij maakt zo'n patch het speelgevoel ook nog net iets beter. Er is geen reden om voor een duurdere versie van een ander merk te gaan.

Wrote the following about Pearl MFH-22B 22-inch mesh head
Elle m'a fait un an. Je l'ai utilisé pour rendre ma grosse caisse plus silencieuse, comme ça j'ai pu continuer de jouer de la batterie alors que j'habitais en appartement.
Le rebond est un peu trop fort mais ça reste correcte.
Je jouai dessus avec une double pédale DW (les battes DW cognent lourdement sur les peaux) et j'avais rajouté un patch pour accroitre la solidité.
La peau c'est percé, mais je reste tout de même très satisfais car le rebond n'était pas TROP fort, et le volume sonore était très faible.
Le rebond est un peu trop fort mais ça reste correcte.
Je jouai dessus avec une double pédale DW (les battes DW cognent lourdement sur les peaux) et j'avais rajouté un patch pour accroitre la solidité.
