Not every musician has the natural talent to stick to the beat, which is why people invented the metronome. The black 836 Taktell Piccolo by the famous German brand Wittner is a traditional mechanical metronome with accurate timing. It has a compact plastic housing and a metal pendulum rod. By sliding the weight on the pendulum up or down, you can create a tempo between 40 and 208 beats per minute (BPM). Now you can play to the beat both by ear and by eye.
In Time with the Wittner 836 Taktell Piccolo
As this metronome is fully mechanical, it doesn't require batteries to work. The pendulum is driven by a spring you can wind with a key on the side. In addition to BPM, the 836 Taktell Piccolo also displays the classic Italian names: Largo, Larghetto, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Allegro, Presto and Prestissimo, with the tempo underneath. It is carefully made, very accurate and reliable, and produces a clear click sound. Additionally, it is small enough to easily bring along. The plastic cover keeps it protected.

Drie sterren omdat ik de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet helemaal vind kloppen.
Het is een praktisch en nuttig apparaat maar waarom toch zo prijzig als het grootste gedeelte van plastic is? Daardoor doet het toch wat goedkoper aan. Nu moet nog blijken hoe lang deze goed blijft werken en heel blijft!
