General

The RADIUS WINDSHIELDS RAD-3 ENG microphone blimp has been developed for anyone recording audio on the move: from journalists to sound engineers. This kit contains everything you need to effectively block out wind noise, whether you’re reporting the news outdoors or capturing audio on location. The RAD-3 shock mount with pistol grip ensures a stable mounting for your microphone, whilst the sturdy, 15 cm Nimbus fur windscreen protects your recording from unwanted noise. Thanks to the soft-grip clips, it fits virtually all small to medium-sized shotgun microphones (19–25 mm diameter), such as the Audio-Technica AT897, Neumann KMR 81 i, Rode NTG-2 and Sennheiser MKE600. The included XLR cable completes the package: just plug it in and start recording.
