With the Samson High Rise, you can boost your low-output dynamic or ribbon microphone before the signal enters your audio interface. This phantom-powered microphone booster can inject 20dB or 30dB of gain and even comes with a setting that offers a +20dB boost along with a high-frequency range boost. This pre-preamp basically gives you more headroom during gigs, podcasts and live-streams, and simply takes its power from your audio interface or mixer - no batteries or mains power needed.
