With condenser microphones, they can still easily get damaged. With the LD Systems U500 CC place you easily replace them for LD Systems U500 microphones. It has a cardioid directional characteristic, meaning it only picks up sound from the front of the microphone. As a result, no ambient noise from the audience, for example, is picked up. The capsule has a very solid finish and is easy to attach to a microphone thanks to its screw-on fastening.
