The SKB 3I Case 381x381x165mm E is an iSeries injection-moulded Mil-Standard waterproof case, designed to provide serious protection for your gear. The case is moulded from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed design that is water- and dust-tight and even submersible (MIL-STD 810H). This makes it a real workhorse for hire, touring and installations. The exterior is hard-walled and resistant to corrosion and impact damage, ensuring your equipment remains well protected whilst on the move.

MIL-Standard protection for on the move

This iSeries case has been developed with harsh conditions in mind. In addition to its water- and dust-tight seal (MIL-STD 810H), the case is resistant to UV, solvents, corrosion, mould and impacts (MIL-STD 810H). This is handy if you often work outdoors, load and unload frequently, or share your case with several parties. The automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H) also helps to compensate for pressure differences – for example, after transport or in fluctuating temperatures – ensuring that opening and closing remains hassle-free.

Practical details and robust hardware

SKB has fitted the case with a moulded-in hinge for reliable operation and the Trigger Latch® System for quick and secure closure. The padlock loops also allow you to provide extra security by fitting a padlock. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle fits comfortably in the hand and folds away neatly when not in use. There are no wheels; this case is designed as a compact, sturdy carry case offering an excellent balance between size and protection.
