General
Moulded from polyethylene, the SKB 6U Roto Rack is not only securely stackable but virtually unbreakable. Finished with rubber seals, this solid, shock-resistant and water-proof case offers excellent protection for 6-units of gear, and the convenience of a double-door construction. The handles have been neatly recessed, while the base has been finished with rubber feet for maximum stability.

I’m getting too old to lift my current sleeved shock mount rack so reluctantly am splitting everything into two lighter racks.
This rack does not give the same level of protection and has my previous rack & the rack strip uses threaded holes,not caged nuts.
So if you put the heavy stuff at the bottom and handle with care it’s absolutely fine, the latches work well & it includes a set of bolts with washers.
Just don’t throw your gear down the stairs and it’s fine.
Everything considered I’m happy with it and don’t have to worry about lifting it.
