The Gator GR-3S is a shallow 19-inch rack case made of synthetic material that will keep your amplifier, equalizer or other (effects) gear safe from dust, dirt and damage. Offering three units of rack space, this case can easily accommodate a shallow amp. Thanks to its durable yet lightweight double-door construction with two detachable lids, the interior of the Gator GR-3S is easily accessible.
GR-3S: practical and durable butterfly latches
With the GR-3S, Gator Cases makes life exceedingly simple for you. The case was obviously designed with great care, and boasts practical features such as rugged butterfly latches and sturdy recessed handles on the sides. Inside, 0.28" rack rails make sure that your gear stays securely in place.

Hallo,
Ik heb een aantal maanden geleden deze case gekocht, omdat mijn vorige case kapot was gegaan.
Ik ben er tot nu toe zeer tevreden over, maar wat ik soms wel wat onhandig vinden zijn de scharnieren bij de deksels.

Min punten
- Scharnieren bij de deksels.
Al met al een goede stevige flightcase voor een zacht prijsje.

Un case molto compatto e robusto. Avevo già la versione a 2 unità rack, che ha custodito amorevolmente la mia vecchia testata per basso per anni, dimostrandosi solida e maneggevole. Nel dettaglio, nella versione 3U ho allocato perfettamente una testata Ampeg SVT 3 pro, premunendomi di smontare i piedini inferiori e quelli posteriori, e calza a pennello. Rispetto ad un rack classico ho risparmiato un sacco di ingombro, di peso, e di salute. Nella sua fascia di prezzo è il top. Consigliato

Eens geïnstalleerd een goede case.
Ik heb gevloekt bij de montage: een gelijmd schroefplaatje aan elke kant dat er bij het eerste contact afvalt. Heb water en bloed gezweet om de eerste bout te monteren! Kutsysteem!!!

Na jaren met een zware houten flightcase te hebben gesjouwd was ik op zoek naar een compacte, lichte, ondiepe kist. Deze Gator viel me daarbij direct op vanwege de gunstige prijs. Inderdaad, de rails zijn even wennen, maar het functioneert wel. Er hadden van mij wel een paar schroeven extra bij mogen zitten, want het is ook andere draad dan bij de reguliere 19 inch racks (ik meen M4).
Verder een prima kist die perfect voldoet aan mijn eerder gestelde eisen: licht en compact!
