General

Rode’s Pin Mic microphone uses a Pin Cap capsule. This capsule has an omnidirectional pickup pattern. Moreover, the capsule attenuates noise, to ensure an even clearer sound. The Pin-Cap is a replacement part for the Pin Mic microphone and it comes in handy when the original capsule breaks.

You can fasten the Pin Mic microphone separately, so only a little ball is seen on your clothing. That, of course, makes the Pin Mic a very reliable microphone for a variety of applications. The Pin-Cap ensures a bright sound colour with low handling noise.
