Rode's SM6 allows you to catch two birds with one stone! It provides you with a nice shockmount for your mic, as well as a pop shield that lets you reduce the impact of P and T sounds in your recordings and keeps saliva out of your valuable microphone.
The SM6 fits on nearly any microphone stand and is fit for most Rode microphones: the Podcaster, NTK, NT1-A, NT1000, NT2-A and NT2000 are all compatible.

Prima en zeer solide shockmount die bij de NT1-A Complete Vocal Recording Solution zat inbegrepen. Enige wat mij bijzonder tegenviel is de montage van de shockmount op een statief. Ten eerste zat er geen adapter bij (van 3/8 naar 5/8) maar die kun je voor 50 cent ook bij Bax kopen. Het ging me meer om de bevestigingsschroef van de pivot (de schroef waarmee je de shockmount in vaste positie kan brengen op je statief). Omdat het geheel best zwaar is wil het nog wel eens gebeuren dat de mic + shockmount uit zichzelf gaan doorhangen. Iets vaster zetten is geen optie, het schroefdraad is van zeer matige kwaliteit met als gevolg een onbruikbare bevestiging. Gelukkig heeft Bax dit netjes opgelost door deze te vervangen met die van de Devine SPS 200. Die is echt een heel stuk steviger!

Het is een fijne shockmount voor de Rode NT1. Ik weet dat het niet geschikt is voor, bijvoorbeeld, de SE 2200a en weet dus ook niet of geschikt is voor andere microfoons.
De service van Bax was ook goed. Alles werd op tijd geleverd.

weer een prima service van bax shop eerst de verkeerde besteld,daarna de rode Shockmount bestelt en natuurlijk weer op tijd bezorgd het bedrag wat ik teveel betaald had , de zelfde week op mijn bank rekening teruggestort .niet te geloven dat het toch wel zo kan nooit geen problemen
