The Rode NTK is a class-A tube microphone that is used by thousands of professionals, all over the world. It produces a full, warm sound. This makes it ideal for recording vocals, drums, acoustic instruments, guitar amps and pianos. At the heart of the NTK is a hand-selected twin triode 6922 tube, which results in a wide dynamic range, a warm sound in your recordings and low noise. The signal/noise ratio equals 82 dB. Wrote the following about RØDE NTK Studio Valve Condenser Microphone
Got this for the studio. Have an AKG c1000 but this is in a different league and then some. Gives you that lovely valve compressed sound and you can really play with the proximity of it. Excellent for vocals. Brilliant mic! And great price and quick delivery. Thanks Bax
