This makes it ideal for recording vocals, drums, acoustic instruments, guitar amps and pianos. At the heart of the NTK is a hand-selected twin triode 6922 tube, which results in a wide dynamic range, a warm sound in your recordings and low noise. The signal/noise ratio equals 82 dB. Delivery includes a power supply and cables in a neat case. All in all, this is an extraordinary microphone in this price range. Rode know what professionals want and the NTK meets these demands. RØDE NTK Studio Valve Condenser Microphone

Got this for the studio. Have an AKG c1000 but this is in a different league and then some. Gives you that lovely valve compressed sound and you can really play with the proximity of it. Excellent for vocals. Brilliant mic! And great price and quick delivery. Thanks Bax
