General
The Rode NT2 A is a professional large-diaphragm capsule studio microphone with a switchable pickup pattern that can be used for all manner of studio recordings. It has three different settings: omni, cardioid and figure of 8. Also, the PAD and high-pass filter can be switched on/off on the body of the microphone. As the transducer's frequency range is very soft, it may put you in mind of the character of microphones from the '50s and '60s. All features and specs of the NT2 A make this a very special microphone.

Beautifully made, solid piece of kit easy to set up and, though pretty heavy, works nicely with my boom microphone stand!
Made my first recording with it this afternoon - sounds great (even with my voice....!)
Only problem I have had, is trying to register for the 10 year guarantee with Røde themselves....

De Rode NT2 A is een prima microfoon met een helder geluid. Het filter functioneert goed en voorkomt de felle klanken. Ook de shockmount doet z'n werk. Aanvankelijk was er wel een fabrieksfout m.b.t. de schroefdraad van mijn shockmount; dat heeft Bax zeer netjes opgelost (waarvoor dank). Ik ben nu een tijdje in het bezit van deze microfoon en ben er zeer tevreden mee. Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

Voor een amateur met hoge ambities is dit een fantastische microfoon, helder geluid en intuïtief in te stellen. De bijgeleverde shockmount functioneert zoals het hoort, met als grootste nadeel dat de meegeleverde popfilter niet horizontaal verstelbaar is. De meegeleverde kabel is van hoge kwaliteit en prettig op te bergen met bijgeleverde klittebandband.

Dit is een geweldige microfoon voor zowel stem als (blaas)instrument. Ik zing en ik ben trompettist. Mic past zich prima aan met de mogelijke instellingen.
