Røde’s PSA1 is a stable studio boom arm for broadcast microphones such as the Røde Procaster and Podcaster. It supports most microphones with a weight between 700 grams and 1.1 kg in combination with a shock mount. Ideal for any home or radio studio. This flexible arm can rotate 360 degrees around its axis and has a horizontal range of 820 mm and a vertical range of 840 mm. The PSA1 is delivered including a clamping system for desks with a thickness of up to 55 mm and a build-in system for desks of up to 70 mm thick. Velcro cable-ties are also included.

It takes the weight of the Rode NT1-A with suspension cradle and pop-filter, and works perfectly in my home studio. This is a lovely piece of kit and looks great attached to my desk with my Procaster mic and PSM1 shock mount, all Rode equipment. It is well made and solid. The arm comes complete with two fittings, the clamp for general attachment to your desk, or a silver locking cylinder if you have a pre-made hole in your desk for it to fit into. The Procaster is a heavy mic and this arm just holds it into place solidly and confidently. The arm will not drop or budge on its own due to the weight of the mic unless you move it yourself. It also comes with three small velcro straps to hold your mic wire in place along the arm. I am so happy with this product.
